I was blessed with a visit from Josue and John one summer afternoon in 2016. They told me how they met and how they came together to create what is now IFOSuD. Josue’s passion for preaching the word of God and for serving his fellow Haitians was very impressive to me. My first trip to Haiti was after the 2016 hurricane Matthew. John warned me that “Haiti will grab you.” Well, I have to say that is what has happened. I feel I have grown to have a much greater appreciation for what we have here in the United States. I look forward to the next opportunity to visit my friends in Haiti and to serving on the board of the Friends of IFOSuD!
